NEGATIVE:

She isn't reading a book now
INTERROGATIVE:
Verb to be + subject +verb(ing)+complement.
Is she reading a book?
Yes, she is /No, she isn't.
USES:
-Present actions:
We use the Present Continuous to talk about actions happening at the
moment
EX: Mary is eating a pizza.
-Temporary actions
This tense is used for activities continuing
for a limited period of time.
EX: His father is working in Rome this month.
-Actions happening at the moment of speaking.
Ex:My friend is preparing for his exams.
- Fixed
plan in the near future
EX: She is going to Basel on
Saturday.
-Repeated actions which are irritating to the
speaker (with always, constantly, forever).
EX : Andrew is always coming late. (I don't
like this.)
